1: Platform Agnostic
Built with Sun's NetBeans Platform, B-Cast is ready to be installed on practically any system and platform that supports Java. Includes installation software that makes deployment a breeze.
2: Player-Less Technology
The tiny Java player applet that is used to decode the encoded live stream will self-load into any web browser that supports Java, including Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Conquerer, Opera and more. The player applet leaves no footprint on the client's computer nor does it require intervention from the user to load.
3: Not a Memory or CPU Hog!
Because B-Cast distributes the processing and memory load to the connecting client's web browser, the server routing the streams requires standard resources to operate. In most cases, the maximum number of client connections will be limited by your bandwidth threshold and not your server's CPU or memory resources.
4: HTTP Only Streaming == Security
Unlike other live video streaming systems, VX30 B-Cast only uses the HTTP protocol. Therefore the live stream can be sent over standard TCP/IP ports such as 80 and 8080.
